Two of the major department stores in Paris, Galleries la Fayette and Printemps have amazing window displays for christmas.
Galleries la Fayette has an enormous swarovski crystal pendant christmas tree hanging in the centre of the store, its just beautiful. The windows are decorated in a mixture of Disney princesses and Louis Vuitton - what a gorgeous fairytale combination!
Printemps windows are decorated by Christian Dior and include full size gowns and miniatures, including gorgeous miniature handbags for the marionettes to carry. The attention to detail is amazing.
There are also decorations and light installations all through the city and a christmas market down the Champs Elysees, the Eiffel tower by night is just gorgeous.
You really see why this is called the City of Light when you see it at night by the glow of millions of christmas lights!!
