Paris

First 2 days in Paris, walk, walk, walk.....then we bought a family pass on the Batobus - a ferry which stops at 8 different places along the Seine and allows you to get on and off all day until 7.30 pm.  At 35 euros for the family its probably the best value we've had here.

We saw some of Paris' amazing bridges from the river as well as Notre Dame where we had a picnic lunch, Musee D'Orsay, the Louvre, the Champs Elysees, the Eiffel Tower, the padlock bridge, the Ferris Wheel at Concorde, the Hotel de Ville.

I would certainly recommend the Batobus if you are here for a day or more, its a great way to get around and see paris from a different perspective.

Tomorrow is Sunday and its the first Sunday  of the month so its free museum day so we will be off to the Louvre and Musee D'Orsay.  Mind you, if the crowds are anything like the Champs Eylsees today for the christmas market, we will be coming back Monday and paying!!

perfect place for a picnic lunch!

Possibly the best hot chocolate ever!!!
