We decided to stay at the legoland village which was absolutely the right decision. The Village is right next to the park, it has private access for guests into the back of the park via a short walk through the forest.
The village has units all decorated in lego themes, we stayed in a lego pirate house, there are egyptian, racing, knights and adventurer houses. each group is based around its own play area and has its own themed playground, and there is a large adventure playground near the main restaurant and reception. The main playground is around a lake and has a climbing course. Under the restaurant is a lego bowling alley which is great fun for the kids.
The village is heaps of fun and the kids were really quite happy there, but after our huge european buffet breakfast we headed down the path to the park and it was absolutely awesome. This was by far the best value entertainment of our trip so far. The park is a fabulous mixture of rides, lego worlds, attractions and lego shops.
Mark and Liam couldnt wait to get onto the new Ninjago ride while lily held back for the more demure speed boat and safari jeep rides and tackled the adventure playgrounds. We had 1 and a half days in the park and heaps of fun. Here are some photos.
